Child tax credit – uk – Benefits?
Am I entitled to tax credits?
I dont work or claim benefits.
I'm living off savings at the mo (29) which wont last long.

benefit and tax credit advice please!?
i currently receive housing benefit, income support, and child tax credit. i am a single mum of 2 and i do not work. im thinking of having my partner move in with us but im not sure how financially viable it is. any ideas who i can contact to find out?? im also thinking of doing part time work but is it worth it with child care costs and working tax credits?? anyone been in this situation?? any advice?? thanks

i was wondering if anyone can tell me roughly how much child tax credit i will be entitled too?
my partner claims incapacity benefit of £210.90 per fortnight, income support of £50.10 per fortnight and i recieve payment of carers allowance of £53.10 per week for being a full time carer for looking after my otherhalf. he also gets dla that i understand is not classed as an income. i am due to give birfth in 10 weeks. i know i will be entitled to child benefit of £20 per week just wondered how much child tax credit...... would be.....
and please people dont start slating me for being on benefits there is legit reasons why i am on benefits and thats due to my partners ill health. its hard enough being a full time carer for someone without people judging us as well

child tax credit what can i do?
my son came to live with me 1st jan this year, i have been waiting decision on claim for extreme amounts of time ( my ex was still claiming for him ) i recived notice today that child tax credit has gone in favour of my ex partner.. i claim child benefit for my son, i feed and try to clothe him with £60 a week we have to live on.. im about to be evicted from my home.. iam appaled that inland revenue allow somebody to de-fraud the system.. what can i do???

do you get child tax credit on top of income support?
A friend has had to go on income support until she finds a job ,she has one daughter at school ,she used to work and recieve tax credits now she has moved to a new town and is just on income support for now but still gets child tax credit on top. Either things have changed a lot or someone is getting it wrong ,I thought you just got income support and that was it even though I wonder how she is supposed to live off that.She will get housing benefit when she is housed.
she has told them time after time they are still paying the child tax credit ,not her tax credit that has stopped and the income support they still keep paying it into her bank

child tax credit and child benefit…?
ok.. are these the same thing? as when my child is born i know i can get child benefit i have been the sent the form for.. but i have also been sent a tax credit form where inside it says to complete child tax credit.. is this different to the benefit form i already have or is it the same thing??... why cant these things be simple..

Child tax credit for 5 month baby?
i know it depends on circumstances and stuff. But my partner has just been made unemployed and i've applyed for child tax credit. My baby is 5 months old, does anyone know how much you get? (apparantly its more for a baby under 1) And how long it takes, i was told it shouldnb't take very long since i have child benefit already. When should i phone, (its been 2 weeks now).
