how much child benefit and child tax credit do you get for a second child?

CHILD BENEFIT: think it's £18 for your first and £11.90 (a week) for your second child.

I receive mine monthly so i'm not exactly sure of the figure.

CHILD TAX CREDIT: This depends on your circumstances so would be impossible to tell you accurately, call them (0845 300 3900).x

  8. the child benefit goes down to about £11 for the second child. i believe it works out that you should get approx £30 per week for it forboth kids. as for child tax credit, it depends on your income and other circumstances. try the governments website for an idea, after they closed it down due to all that fraud they have now reopened it so that should give you an idea.
