What a load of bollocks, Mistakes are made by the people who submit the claim then do not keep HMRC informed of their up to date circumstances and income until the end of the year.
The best info i can give to the claimants is too Read the information booklet that comes with the claim pack before you fill it in and follow the instructions. It is not rocket science….. even you can do it..

99% of mistakes are from people getting their details wrong – income too low, “forget” to report partner moving in or childcare stopping. What rubbish.
